Greetings Fellow NYM ISSA members,
For years ISSA and our local chapter have been dedicated to the provision of quality programs and critical networking opportunities that contribute to the professional development of our members and the enhancement of information system security controls.
As we approach the New Year, our board as well as our membership has focused attention toward recovering from recent natural disasters and their residual effects. However, this will not change our focus nor our resolve in creating opportunities for our dedicated metro area membership, and facilitating valuable learning that contributes to the enhancement and betterment of the information security community at large.
I encourage you to take advantage of our 2012 – 2013 programs that tackle advancements in vulnerability management, cloud security, disaster recovery as well as many other evolving areas of information security and privacy.
I look forward to serving the Chapter as President. Along with our dedicated board members and advisors, we look forward to providing you best opportunities, support and information, as well as re-focusing our efforts on membership collaboration in the development of relative and substantive regional information security content.
