Media focus on issues such as identity theft have led data privacy and the protection of personal information to become buzz words for the average citizen. The challenge that organizations face is to comply with regulations and also manage their brand and reputation while maintaining customer confidence. Many approaches are used throughout he world. This month’s session focuses on the results of a global information security and data privacy survey conducted by Deloitte and Touche and focuses on privacy in practice at HBO. Attendees will learn trends and challenges that organizations face as well as learn the very pragmatic implementation process employed by HBO.
